One of the core practices of our community is Learning and so we try to find different ways to work this out.
On 3 & 4 May 2024 we're undertaking a pilgrimage - a walk - following part of one of the ancient pilgrimage trails, St Kenelm's Way. As we travel we'll be sharing faith and life as we walk and talk together. The walk is two days of approximately 10-miles each, and you can join for one or both days, one section or even just at the churches.
The format for the days will look something like this:
Day 1 - Friday 3 May
9am Morning Prayer @ St. John the Baptist, Fladbury
10.00am Section 1 - Approx 6.5 miles
12.30pm Lunch & Midday Prayer - St Barbara's, Ashton-Under-The-Hill
2.00pm Section 2 - Approx 3 miles
4.00pm Early Evening Prayer - St. Peter's, Dumbleton,
4,30pm Finish.
7pm Shared meal together in Cheltenham
Day 2 - Saturday 4 May
9am Morning Prayer @ St. Peter's, Dumbleton
10.00am Section 1 - Approx 6 miles
12.30pm Lunch & Midday Prayer - Hailes Abbey, nr Winchcombe
2.00pm Section 2 - Approx 4 miles
4.00pm Early Evening Prayer - St. Peter's, Winchcombe,
4,30pm Finish.
6.30pm Shared meal together in Cheltenham
